If you’re a tutor helping students prepare for the ACT, PSAT, or ACT tests you know that you have at least two big challenges when you work with every student:

  1. Sourcing practice tests and problems
  2. Ensuring that your students are benefiting from your tutoring
  3. Getting students to do practice on their own

Piqosity can help you with all of these problems and at absolutely no cost.

Sourcing Practice Tests and Problems

With Piqosity, students can work through more than 3,000 practice problems for the PSAT, SAT, and ISEE. These practice problems are tailored to the student’s individual strengths and weaknesses. This adaptability means that your students will automatically be asked to practice the areas in which they’re weakest. Content comes from previously released exams and our network of educator contributors (you too can contribute content).

Ensuring that Students are Learning

Furthermore, as the student’s tutor, you’ll be able to monitor their progress from your own account. You can see  how many problems they’ve worked, what topics they were in, their average difficulty, and how your student did.

You’ll also be able to review individual problem sets with your student so that you can ensure they understand everything they missed.

Nudging Students to Practice

While Piqosity can’t force students to sit down and practice, it does provide you with the tools and data to check for yourself and take appropriate coercive measures! In particular, you’ll be able to see the last time that your student logged in and what they actually accomplished.

Additionally, students who have used Piqosity say that, “for test prep, it’s actually pretty fun and easy.”
